Arts University Bournemouth: first two months

Lately the last weeks have all been about the subject of Specialism, Where the students are going through different specialism so they can learn about them and make the right choice for the 2nd year.

I started January about Directing, Producing and Documentary. And all three of them are very interesting directions to go.

The Directing specialism also had an assignment about a shooting a short 3 min film within 3 weeks.
With a fast written script and a talented cast and crew, I managed to shoot a short film about selective muteism that I am very pleased about he result in the end. We filmed in the Alum Chine Park, and is very recommended area in Bournemouth to take a walk or even take beautiful pictures.

Later helped with three other short films, this time acted in all three of them. Which was a lot of fun, since it was a different experience being in front of the camera instead of behind it.

The 3rd one was a outside of uni shoot, and did involve in being a whole day at home at the sound recording house, a shot where I was just in underwear and drink water with foodcolor in it, which tasted worse than it sounds like. I yet have to see the final edited film.

The next days will involve in finishing off and handing in one or more storytelling scrips, and will also visit Stone Henge for the first time!
